Moreh, October 12 2021: A man has fled after attacking his wife with a knife today morning.

Speaking to the media, Luxmi Sanga, sister of the victim, said Ram Hasda (38) had attacked his wife Julie with a knife following a quarrel the previous day.

Ram Hasda had tried to slit the throat of his wife, she told the press.

Luxmi Sanga added that Julie was taken to PHC Moreh, but as her condition was critical, she has been shifted to a hospital in Imphal.

A formal complaint has been filed against Ram Hasda at Moreh Police Station by Luxmi Sanga.

Ram Hasda is a resident of Kokrajhar in Assam and currently engaged as labour by BRTF at T Meenou village.
