Imphal, February 15:
Two piggery farms were handed over to the people of Oinamlong and Lungkao in Chandel district by the CO of 5 Assam Rifles, Col Prabir Barik today, said a statement issued by the PIB (Defence Wing).
The project includes construction of animal sheds, allied infrastruture and provisions of piglets for the villagers, said PIB and added that villagers expressed their deep gratitude to the Red Shield Division.
