Imphal, April 07 2025: In separate notifications, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed consumers that there will be no water supply in areas under the jurisdiction of Ningthem Pukhri and Canchipur water supply schemes.

The disruption in water supply is due to the lean season and lowering of river water below the base level, said the notifications.

PHED has requested the public to bear the inconvenience until the situation improves.
