Thoubal, May 06 2025: Thoubal Forest Division organised an awareness programme on 'Forest Rights Act, 2006' at its office premises located at Thoubal.

The chief guest of the event, RK Amaijit, Conservator of Forest, Central Circle emphasized on the benefits that can be availed by the scheduled tribe and other traditional forest dwellers under the Forest Right Act.

The event was also attended by DFO Thoubal, Dr Jeeceelee, Kakching Range Officer, Thoubal Range Officer and Range Officer Headquarters along with locals and Ekta Parishad.
