Imphal, February 26: Coalition Against Drug Abuse (CADA) has pulled up a drug peddler along with 35 grams of Heroin powder worth Rs 10,000 in the local market.

The drug peddler has been identified as Khundongbam Naocha alias Suraj (27) s/o Juge of Thoubal Kiyam Siphai.

It is said Naocha is dealing in drugs along with one Neta of Moreh.

After taking the drugs from Moreh, Naocha had tried to sell the same at Guwahati and Jiribam.

After selling some quantity of the drugs at Jiri, he went to Moreh to hand over the remaining quantity which he could not sell.

However, while returning to Imphal be brought along with him some quantity of the drugs worth Rs 10,000.He was rounded up at Imphal.

Naocha has been set after giving proper advise against indulging in drug peddling in future.

Publicity secretary of CADA Rishi Mangang has appealed to all the people for co-operation and support in fighting against the menace of drug.
