Imphal, March 15: Expressing concern over the damage of 2 mm DIA of water supply caused by the Public Work Department while trying to construct a culvert at a place leading towards Kakhulong in Paona Bazar, a release of assistant engineer sub-division No II of PHED N Surachandra Singh, appealed the local people to bear with the department concerned.

While maintaining that the required device is not available at the moment, the release assured that the department concerned would repair the damaged pipe as soon as it is available and expressed regret for the possible inconvenience caused in the supply of water.
