Saplings planted at sacred site

Imphal, May 11 2025:
Members of Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) along with local clubs and Meira Paibi of Kongba Uchekon planted fruit-bearing tree saplings around the Purukshoubi sacred site located at Kongba Uchekon on Sunday.
Speaking in this regard, CCSK Secretary General Laikhuram Jayenta informed that the programme is part of its ongoing initiative to plant trees at sacred sites He stated that the tree plantation initiative would continue and appealed to everyone to plant trees to protect the environment.
