Imphal, March 15: The two deceased found buried at Phayeng Ching Khunou under Sapermeina police station last afternoon were hacked to dead at the necks.

This was confirmed during post mortem examination of the corpses belonging to Paoshemlal Samte (21) of Kangchup Patbung and Ginkholien Haokip (21) of Kangpokpi ward no 12 at RIMS today.

The two corpses were exhumed yesterday.

Fatal injury marks were found on left side of the necks of the deceased.

It was also discovered that both the deceased were severely hacked two/three times each.
