Imphal, January 07: United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has appealed to KLO/KLA for a peaceful settlement of the September 3, 2007 incident in which 10 KLA cadres were killed and their arms confiscated by the NSCN (IM) at Tangkhul Hundung.

In a statement, secretary of department of information an publicity Th James Bond also appealed to both KLO/KLA and NSCN (I-M) to refrain from targeting civilian in future.

'If any of these two organisations target civilian in future, they should be condemned by the people and we will denounce them as anti-people', James Bond said.

UKLF stands for peace and development or the people.

Therefore, they (KLO/KLA and NSCN (I-M) should settle their problem through dialogue, James Bond said, while appealing to other civil organisations for contributing their mite in this regard.
