Imphal, March 21 2009: Expressing deep concern over the emerging trend of shooting and sending obscene and sexually explicit video clippings of their loved ones and commercial sex workers through blue tooth after capturing them in mobile phones, the proscribed PREPAK has called upon the people for a collective effort to check the demoralising trend immediately.

A press release issued by the outfit's Home Department Commander of Imphal West Lt Ningjaba conveyed that the disturbing trend has been spreading extensively in the land.

This was discovered during an investigation conducted by a team under his leadership.

In the course of the investigation, the outfit pulled up one 35-year-old L Ibechaobi Devi (address and names of parents held back) along with the obscene video clippings she shot.

Another woman, Th Nisinta (49), who collaborated with Ibechaobi in their immoral activities was also pulled up on March 20. The males involved in enacting and capturing sexually explicit scenes on the camera are Muhindro Singh (40) of Thoubal, Dhamen (40) of Chingamakha, Santa Singh (38) of Chingmeirong Khongnang Karak, Dhananjoy Singh (42) of Uripok, Bijoy Singh (41) of Uripok and Boynao Singh (28) of Pishum.

The addresses and names of parents of these individuals have been concealed in their interest of their future lives, the outfit said.

The places where they took video clippings of their sex scenes were given by Sangita Tangkhul (40) of Ukhrul but staying at Tangkhul Nagaram (Besides providing rooms for the immoral activities, she is a commercial sex worker herself), Tampakleima Devi (53) of Moirang but staying at Keishamthong, Laxmi alias Rekha (26) of Dewlahland (herself being CSW), Becha Tangkhul of Pandon (CSW), Somi Devi of Khurai (CSW), Api w/o Hitler of Senapati but staying at Lamphel Super Market (leasing rooms), Meri Tangkhul (46) of Game Village Zone II (leasing rooms), Kim (34) w/o Lulun of Churachandpur but staying at Lamphal (leasing rooms), Graceme Tangkhul (42) of Dewlahland (leasing rooms) and Ayou (37) w/o O Manjit of Langol (leasing rooms).

All of them should contact the party on or before March 25, the outfit conveyed.

On the revelation of Ibechaobi and Nisinta, some hotel located at Imphal have been letting out rooms for such immoral acts.

These hotels are Prince Hotel Gandhi Avenue, Hotel Pintu North AOC, Hotel City Inn, North AOC, Hotel Khristina Paona Bazar, Hotel Embassy, Paona Bazar and Hotel Arun (earlier called Hotel Bijaya), Paona Bazar, the outfit disclosed while asking proprietors of these hotels to contact the party on or before March 26. The outfit has also been informed that some computer centres like Nidhi Enterprises Thangal Bazar, Imphal Mobile Paona Bazar and AGC Lamphel have been downloading sexually explicit scenes from internet and transferring to memory cards (of mobile phones) of their customers.

As such, the owners of these computers should also contact the party at the earliest.

The outfit further appealed to all local clubs, Meira Paibis and civil society organisations to penalise those men and women involved in such immoral and debauched activities and to inform the party about them.

On the other, L Ibechaobi and Th Nisinta were paraded before media persons at a location in the valley this afternoon.

They were also penalised by cutting off their hairs.
