AR holds programme for HIV positive women

Imphal, May 16 2024: Assam Rifles organised a programme for HIV positive women of Dorcas Compassion Home, run by Manipur Baptist Convention's Women Department at Pallel, on May 14 .

The event featured a vibrant Jazz band display, a variety of group games, and dance performances, culminating in a felicitation ceremony.

A total of 16 women and 10 children attended the programme.

At S Kholen village, Churachandpur, Assam Rifles organised a lecture on 'Women Empowerment' on Wednesday.

The lecture explained various policies undertaken by the government of India in various fields for women empowerment.

During the lecture, various examples of eminent women from various backgrounds who have played crucial roles in society towards the progress of nation were presented, said a release by PRO IGAR (S) .
