School honours commerce topper Aiena Naorem

Kakching, May 16 2024: Kakching Higher Secondary School student Aiena Naorem, who topped the commerce stream in the Higher Secondary, Examination-2024 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur, was felicitated by her school teachers and fellow students on Thursday.

The felicitation programme was attended by School principal Naorem Nomita Devi, retired principals Kshetrimayum Manihal Devi, Mayanglambam Rameshwar and vice principal in-charge Dr Nongmaithem Pramodini as presidium members.

As part of the event, Aiena was presented with gifts and cash reward.

Gifts were also presented to retired principal M Rameshwar, who was commerce subject teacher along with other commerce subject teachers of the school.

Speaking on the occasion, Aiena attributed her success in the exam to dedicated support of her principal and teachers.

She also expressed gratitude to the school authorities for exempting fees and providing books while studying at the school.

Aiena further exhorted the students not to undermine their latent talent on the ground of studying in government school but strive for comprehending the lessons taught and focus on their lessons to achieve success.
