MUA, LNKK clarify on KNO post appointment

Kakching, July 11 2024: Maring Uparap Assembly (MUA) clarified that the organisation has nothing to do with the social media post made on July 3, 2024 regarding appointment of one Momo Maring as the parliamentary secretary of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) .

MUA further clarified that Momo Maring is unrelated with Maring tribe nor recognised by the Maring people and accordingly the community will not take any responsibility for Momo in future.

It urged the public not take in negative sense about the community in the current sensitive situation.

Lamkang Naga Kver Kunpun (LNKK) also clarified that it is unrelated with the social media post made on July 3, 2024 regarding the appointment of one Benjamin Lamkang as sports secretary of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) .

LNKK further clarified that Benjamin Lamkang is not a Lamkang tribe nor recognised by the Lamkang people and accordingly Lamkang community will not take any responsibility for Benjamin in future.

It urged the public not mis-interprete the matter or the community.
