ML clarifies over donation drive

Imphal, September 08 2023: Maintaining that it is supported by its friends and well-wishers who believe in their cause, Meitei Leepun has clarified that the organization does not collect any money from public as donation.

Stating that some people who are not related with Meitei Leepun are collecting donation from shops and offices in the name of the organization, Meitei Leepun in a press communique, has warned "perpetrators not to collect money from general public in our name.

If any individual is caught doing such nefarious activity, he shall bear responsibility of the consequences" .

The release further appealed to the public to inform Meitei Leepun or lodge a complaint at the nearest police station if any individual come for donation in the name of theorganizationz organization.
