Imphal, May 19 2025: A people's consultative meeting on the ongoing Zeliangrong political talks with the Government of India was held Monday at Gaidimjang-1 community hall in Noney district.

Representatives from Khoupum, Nungba, Noney, Dolang and Nungnang circles and CSO leaders attended the consultative meeting wherein opinions and thoughts of the leaders on the political talks were discussed.

After the discussion, the consultative meeting resolved to support the ongoing political talks unanimously.

The consultative meeting served as a vital platform to deliberate on the ongoing political dialogue between the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) and the Government of India.

Participants engaged in extensive discussions, exchanging perspectives on the progress and significance of the talks.

Following over an hour of deliberation, the delegates unanimously reached a collective resolution to extend full support and cooperation to the ongoing dialogue.

They expressed their firm commitment to facilitate and uphold the ZUF's engagement with the Government of India, underscoring their shared pursuit of Zeliangrong political aspirations.

The unified stance adopted at the meeting signals a strong backing from grassroots leaders and communities, strengthening the momentum of the political process.
