Imphal, April 08 2025: Gyan Drishti Trust, under the leadership of former Lok Sabha MP Dr RK Ranjan, and sponsorship of Bharat Petroleum Limited, provided solar-powered water purification assets to Johnstone Higher Secondary School, here, on Monday.

The donation included a solar-powered RO water purification unit with a capacity of 250 litres per day, three water tanks of 1000 litres, a water ATM booth, and other related accessories.

Additionally, the package included a 1KW solar power system with a 4-hour battery backup, a 2KW inverter, a Li-Ion battery, and a 1HP solar submersible pump.

The trust also provided electrical wiring, plumbing materials, and a two-year maintenance plan, which covers the changing of membranes and other necessary accessories.

The assets were handed over to the school's principal, with the aim of providing clean drinking water to students and staff at Johnstone Higher Secondary School.
