Unrelated with four arrested: RPF

Imphal, March 19 2025: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has clarified that the Front and its military wing People's Liberation Army (PLA) are unrelated with the four persons arrested by Manipur police on March 8 and March 13 .

According to a statement issued by RPF's assistant publicity secretary Bangkim, Thoubal police arrested three individuals from Kakching Lamkhai on March 8.The arrested individuals are Nongmaithem Muhindro (54), son of N Ningthemjao of Kakching Turel Wangma; Nongmaithem Anjalica alias Thoibi (16), daughter of N Muhindro of Kakching Turel Wangma; and Moirangthem Romen alias Phireppa, son of M Raju of Moirang Bazar Maning Moirangthem Leikai.

On March 13, Bishnupur police commando arrested one Thokchom Ongbi Anita (46), wife of Th MR Meetei of Say-ang Kuraomakhong, the RPF statement said and clarified that none of the four arrested individuals were related in any manner to the party and its military wing PLA .
