Army empowers youth in CCpur

Imphal, April 07 2025:
Indian Army organised a ceremony on the completion of the first batch of Basic Computer Training Course trainees at Computer Centre at Phoenix Institute, S Kawtlian, in Churachandpur district on Monday.
In a release, PRO Defence informed that the Computer Centre, established under the Indian Army's Operation Sadbhavna initiative in September-2024, is equipping local youth with essential digital skills and promote self-reliance through education and empowerment.
The event was attended by Indian Army officials, village chief and local residents.
During the ceremony, six students were awarded Basic Computer Training Course Completion Certificates.
The success of the first batch has sparked increased interest among the community, with nine new students enrolling for the second course, thus, reflecting the growing impact of the initiative on the aspirations of local youth, elaborated the PRO .
