Kakching, December 23 2024: A book release function and an Inspirational Talk programme were held on Monday at the multipurpose hall of Kha Manipur College.

The book titled "Impacts on the Environment in North East India" written and compiled by the College's Research Committee was released during the programme jointly organised by the college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Research Committee.

It was attended by College principal professor Yumnam Sunitibala, retired principal and IQAC member Dr Salam Khogen and College Alumni Association president Kshetrimayum Shyamkeshwar as presidium members.

Kha Manipur College department of Zoology assistant professor Dr Nongthombam Premananda Singh is editor of the book, while associate professor Dr Mayanglambam Roma Devi (Head of the Botany Department) and assistant professor Dr Kshetrimayum Gyaneshwari (Department of English) are the sub-editors.

During the Inspirational Talk programme, Dhanamanjuri University former VC professor Nongmaithem Rajmuhon spoke in connection with the National Mathematics Day.

Additionally, the college's 2025 calendar was released during the event.
