Public urged to attend tribute event

Imphal, May 16 2024: The Pambei-led United National Libera tion Front (UNLF) would be observing Katthokkhraba Singgi Ningsing Numit, a tribute to fallen cadres of the Front in its decades-long freedom struggle since 1964, at Nongpok Sanjenbam in Imphal East district on Saturday, 9 am.

A press statement of the Front informed that the observance is being organised by Organising Committee, Khatthokkhraba singgi Numit 2024, a committee constituted by family members of the fallen martyrs.

The Front appealed to the people of Manipur to participate in the observance and pay floral tributes to the fallen cadres of the organisation.

The statement further urged all to light up candles in every household in the evening at 7 o'clock as a mark of respect to the departed cadres.
