PKMNL lauds support to Paochani High School

Ukhrul, April 07 2025: Phungcham Katamnao Mayar Ngala Long (PKMNL) has expressed gratitude to Ng Bhogendro Meitei, State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, SIS Manipur, for the infrastructure support provided to Paocham High School.

According to PKMNL, the school has received donation of essential items, including 30 sets of benches and desks, two desktop computers, two uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), two printers, a projector, three computer tables, five rolling chairs, four cooking pots, three water filters, a first aid box, a 1000-litre water tank, two solar panels, a battery, an inverter, and various sports equipment such as a carrom board, football, and volleyball.

While acknowledging the support, PKMNL also highlighted the urgent need for major repairs to the dilapidated school building.

Currently, the school is managed by a small team of six teachers, including the headmistress, PKMNL stated, appealing to the authorities to appoint adequate teachers to ensure quality education for the students.

PKMNL further thanked the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Ukhrul and the staff for their positive response and urged for continued support in addressing the needs of the school.
