Golden Jubilee Arts Fair opens at Palace compound

Imphal, December 23 2024: A five-day Golden Jubilee Arts Fair organised by Art Society Manipur commenced from Monday at City Convention Centre, Palace compound.

The opening function of the art fair was attended by commissioner (art & culture) M Joy as chief guest and Art Society Manipur vice president Ksh Jugindro as president.

A total of 10 stalls of artists are exhibiting their art works including paintings.

According to Art Society vice president Ksh Jugindro, the society was established in the year 1972 and registered in 1973 but unable to conduct art fair for a long time to fund crunch.

Nevertheless, the society managed to organise the fair this year for the first time with the participation of young and talented artists.
