Rich tributes paid on Henthoi's "Mangani Leihul"

Thoubal, January 31 2025: A large crowd congregated at the Tarongthel Integrity Park in Andro Khunou under Imphal East district, to pay tribute to PLA cadre Salam Henthoi, who was killed in a gun battle on January 27 with adversary forces near the Border Pillar No 87 on the Indo Myanmar border.

The gathering took place during his "Mangani Leihul" ceremony, where floral tributes were also offered.

The ceremony, which saw participants from various parts of the state, was particularly attended by people from Kakching district's Komnab village, Henthoi's birthplace, who arrived in the form of a rally to pay their last respects.

Floral tributes were offered to a photograph of the fallen cadre, as attendees gathered to honour his sacrifice and contributions.
