India International Science Festival concludes

The 10th edition of India International Science Festival (IISF), an initiative of Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences along with other central government departments, which began on November 30 at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati concluded on Tuesday.
Manipur Science & Technology secretary Hungyo Worshang participated as a panellist in the session "Science Odyssey; Focused S&T for North East India particularly addressing the potentials and challenges faced by the people of Manipur and needs for growth and development of the state through science & technology(S&T) intervention, while MAS-TEC director Dr L Minaketan Singh participated as a panellist in the session "Media Conclave - Dissemination of Science & Technology (S&T) in media" .
The valedictory function of the Festival organised under the theme "Transforming India into a Science &Technology driven Global Manufacturing Hub" was attended by Assam Science, Technology & Climate Change minister Keshav Mahanta and DSIR and DG, CSIR secretary Dr N Kalaiselvi as the chief guest and president respectively.
