Posers raised over arrest of fraud

Imphal, December 23 2024: Reacting to the apprehension of one Laishram Rajesh, who is principal of Brilliant Academy, Thoubal, by DESAM volunteers on the charge of duping the public and students, employees of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) raised posers regarding claims of the accused persons.

In a release, the BoSEM employees wondered how the said person was in possession of .question setter's appointment letter and on what capacity he took part in the meeting outside the state along with the incumbent BoSEM chairman and the then secretary.

It further questioned how the said person took part in important/confidential meetings of the Board like examination committee meeting etc., and how and under what circumstances the said individual with such dubious character was appointed as an exanliner/ evaluator in the past HSLC exam.

It further enquired on what capacity he was included as a member of the flying squad in the past HSLC exams.

The release further urged authorities concerned to seriously look into the matter for swift and timely action so that such individual(s) whosoever with questionable integrity is checked thereby ensuring a clean environment in an important institution like the BoSEM .
