For the second consecutive days, protest demonstration continued to be staged at different parts of the State in denunciation of the killing Kasom Khullen SDO Dr Th Kishan and his two sub-ordinate staff namely Aribam Rajen Sharma and Yumnam Token and demanding punishment of the killers even as students of Tiny Tots Unique English School attended their classes wearing black badges in protest against the triple murder.
Students and teachers of DM College of Arts, English Department staged the protest demonstration inside the college campus.
Participating in the demonstration, Dr Silaramani described death of Dr Kishan as a great loss to the society.
Members of Kakhulong Women's Society protested against the triple murder by organising a Wakat Meepham at Paona Bazar.
Placards with slogans demanding punishment of the killers and urging for peace and communal harmony were also used during the demonstration.
Students and teachers of LMS Law College also staged a Wakat Meepham in protest against th killing of Dr Kishan and his two staff.
At Singjamei Bazar, people of Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai, Oinam Thingel and Okram Leikai jointly staged demonstrated against the killing.
Local Meira Paibis of Waikhom Leikai, Kwakeithel Moirang Purel, Heirangoithong Awang Maibam Leikai, Takhel Leikai, etc also protested against the triple murder in their respective locality.
At Kakwa Bazar, the protest demonstration was staged under the aegis of Kakwa Leiphrakpam Leikai Apunba Lup.
Uyumpok Mahila Welfare Association also demonstrated against the killing and demanded punishment of the killers.
Yaipha Lamjing Nupi Lup, Ningthemcha Karong and Naoriya Kendra Women Welfare Association have also condemned the triple murder.
Peoples Protection and Development Committee (PPDC), Wangoi and Chanura Lamjinglen, Kangleipak (CLK), Wangoi Branch jointly organised a Wakat Meepham against the killing at Wangoi Bazar.
Similar protest demonstration against the killing were also staged at Mayengbam Leikai, Sega Road Thouda Bhabok Leikai, Mongsangei, Wangoi Laiphrakpam Leikai, Wabagai Lamkhai, Khongjom, Wangjing, Singjamei Chingamacha, Khumbong Bazar, Patsoi, Uyumpok Litan Makhong, Moirang Leirak, Thangjam Leirak, Sekmai Bazar, Pukhrambam Leirak, Takyel, Moirang Hanuba Leirak, Khamnam Leirak and Tera Bazar, etc.
On the other hand, students of Tiny Tots Unique School attended their classes today wearing black badges expressing solidarity to the public demand for awarding befitting punishment against the killers of Dr Kishan and this two staff.
