Imphal, January 07: Of some of the individuals warned by the proscribed RPF against regular 'smuggling' of Zarda along Imphal-Moreh route, two gave in to the outfit.

The two Zarda transporters identified as Khwairakpam Ibo (34) of Sekmai Awang Leikai and Laimayum Manaobi alias Inaobi (34) of Sekmai Bazar (near Forest Gate) were paraded before media persons at a location in Imphal East district today.

On their assurance that they will never involve themselves in Zarda trade in future, the two were handed over to their family members.

In a related case, a Tata Sumo was set afire a few days back.
