HC CJ extends aid to relief camp

Imphal, May 14 2025: Manipur High Court Chief Justice D Krishnakumar on Wednesday distributed relief materials to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) staying at Urup OBC Girls Hostel Relief Camp in Imphal East.

According to a statement released by Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), the Chief Justice was accompanied by MASLSA executive chairman Justice A Bimol and Justice A Gunesh-war Sharma.

During the visit, Chief Justice Krishnakumar interacted with the IDPs and distributed many essential items.

Later, the Directorate of Health Services and CMO Imphal East jointly organised a free medical camp for the IDPs.

The camp was attended by Manipur High Court registrar general Ojesh Mutum, DLSA, Imphal East chairperson N Lanleima, MASLSA member secretary Alek Muivah, Bar Council of Manipur chairman S Brajabihari, High Court Bar Association president Y Nimolchand and other officials.

The visit was conducted as part of the legal services and free medical camp launched by Supreme Court Judge and NALSA executive chairman Justice BR Gavai on March 22 .
