Talent Hunt Competition conducted

The two-day Talent Hunt Competition, organised by the Rashtriya Kala Manch, Manipur, concluded on Sunday at the College of Agriculture, Imphal, with a vibrant group dance showcase celebrating the state's cultural diversity.
Held on May 10 and May 11 (Sunday), the event drew participation from 29 schools, with 151 students competing in 37 solo and 37 group dance performances.
The platform aims to nurture young talent and promote cultural heritage among the youth, according to a press release of ABVP, Manipur.
The first day featured solo performances marked by grace and creativity, while the second day's group dance finale brought traditional and contemporary styles to the stage, earning enthusiastic applause.
Top honours in the Group Dance Competition went to Maibi Jagoi (1st Prize), Seloi Team (2nd), and Bosconian Kabh (3rd), with six other teams receiving consolation prizes.
The event was attended by Prof W Chandbabu, vice chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, as chief guest, with Prof Aheibam Dinamani, state vice president of ABVP Manipur, as guest of honour, and Wilston Tensubam, RKM state co-convenor, as special guest.
Rashtriya Kala Manch also thanked participants, schools, volunteers, and the host institution.
