MU VC highlights PM's vision for youth

Imphal, December 03 2024: Manipur University vice chancellor Prof N Lokendra expressed strong support for the upcoming "Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue", a reimagined version of the National Youth Festival (NYF) 2025.The initiative aligns with the Prime Minister's vision for empowering youth as catalysts for nation-building and fostering a progressive and inclusive India.

In a release, MU NSS Cell informed that during a meeting with its programme coordinator Dr Laishram Santosh and his team of NSS programme officers at MU, the VC reviewed on-going youth engagement initiatives in Manipur, emphasising their progress and impact.

He called for maximum participation from Manipur's youth, and encouraged them to take advantage of the unique platform to showcase their leadership and innovation.

The VC further said that 'Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue' is more than a reimagined National youth festival and it reflects the Prime Minister's bold vision for youth empowerment.

It aims to engage and empower youth through interactive sessions, workshops, and leadership initiatives, fostering a new generation of leaders committed to a developed and inclusive India, the release conveyed, while encouraging young people from Manipur and across the country to participate in the event.
