Iboton Memorial Academy celebrates

Iboton Memorial Academy, Wangoi celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day at Wangoi Veterinary ground on Monday.
The function was attended by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) acting president DB Kowar and Academy chairman W Jadumani as chief guest and president respectively while Imphal West District Football Association (IWBFA) president W Mobicha, AMFA technical chairman Th Ibotombi, IWDFA general secretary in-charge K Ibotombi alias Totobi were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, DB Kowar pointed out that the Academy is the first to introduce Anal, Rongmei, Kabui and Tangkhul languages into its syllabus, teaching these diverse languages to students.
Additionally, the Academy's teachers, with a strong sense of sacrifice, are actively engaging in various activities.
Iboton Memorial Academy principal Asha Sagolshem stressed the importance of building a strong foundation for students, alongside providing them with love, affection and encouragement.
To foster a sense of love and cultural appreciation, Art and Culture have been integrated into the school syllabus.
Additionally, she reiterated that Anal, Rongmei, Kabui and Tangkhul languages have been introduced to help students from different communities to communicate conveniently with one another.
As part of the foundation day celebrations, a football tournament for students was also inaugurated at the Wangoi veterinary ground.
