Mass cleanliness drive conducted ahead of festive season

Noney, December 03 2024: In preparation for the upcoming festive season and related events, the Women's Society of Longmai Part-4 Peaceland, Noney district headquarters, organised a mass cleanliness drive on Tuesday.

Members of the society conducted sweeping operations along NH-37 and the approach roads leading to the village, removing dust and litter.

Speaking to the media, Ajuanah Kameipui, president Longmai-4 Baptist Church, emphasised the importance of cleanliness, reminding that, Cleanliness is next to godliness".

She urged everyone to maintain clean and healthy surroundings to prevent the spread of diseases.

Kameipui appealed to the community to foster love and peace while advocating for positive social change.

She also appealed to residents to use dustbins responsibly and avoid discarding waste on streets or in public spaces.
