Booking for Honda EVs, ACTIVA e: & QC1 from Jan 1

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced launch of its first electric vehicles- ACTIVA e: and QC1 - in an event in Bengaluru with booking for the same starting from January 1, 2025, with deliveries in February 2025.The ACTIVA e: an electrified version of Honda's iconic scooter, and the QC1, a sleek personal mobility solution, embody the company's commitment to environmentally friendly transportation.
Launch of the two vehicles aligns with Honda's global "Triple Action to ZERO" initiative, which targets carbon neutrality by 2050 through advancements in clean energy, resource circulation, and emissions reduction.
Speaking at the launch event, HSMI managing director, president, and CEO Tsutsumu Otani called it a pivotal moment in the company's journey towards electrification.
"With the ACTIVA e: and QC1, HMSI is building a sustainable future while meeting the evolving needs of Indian society.
Our focus remains on creating one of India's best EV ecosystems," he said.
The ACTIVA e: stays true to the legacy of its petrol-powered predecessor, blending a familiar silhouette with modern design elements.
It features a sleek profile, all-LED headlamps and tail lamps, and dual-tone seating, making it an attractive option for urban riders.
Available in two variants-ACTIVA e: and ACTIVA e: Honda RoadSync Duo� - the scooter is offered in five vibrant colours, including Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Misty White.
The ACTIVA e: also includes advanced features like a 7-inch TFT screen with navigation and real-time connectivity through the Honda RoadSync Duo� app, ensuring a smart and seamless riding experience.
A standout feature of the ACTIVA e: is its swappable battery technology, which allows users to replace batteries at designated Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: stations.
Each ACTIVA e: is equipped with two 1.5 kWh batteries that provide a combined range of 102 km on a full charge.
The batteries are part of Honda's Mobile Power Pack e: initiative, aimed at simplifying electric vehicle ownership.
Riders can expect strong performance, with a top speed of 80 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Honda QC1 offers a sleek and stylish option for daily commutes.
Designed with elegance and practicality in mind, it features LED lighting, a 5-inch LCD display, and a spacious 26-litre under-seat storage compartment.
The QC1 is powered by a fixed 1.5 kWh battery, providing a range of 80 km on a single charge.
With a top speed of 50 km/h and two riding modes - Standard and Econ- it is tailored for riders seeking efficiency and ease.
The battery can be charged at home using an off-board charger, which ensures an 80 per cent charge in 4.5 hours and a full charge in under seven hours.
Both the ACTIVA e: and QC1 will initially be available in select cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Honda has also taken steps to, ensure a hassle-free ownership experience.
Both models come with a three-year or 50,000 km warranty and three complimentary services during the first year.
Additionally, Honda is offering free roadside assistance for the'first year to enhance customer convenience.
