The function was attended by former Union Minister of State RK Ranjan, Temple Board president RK Dhiren and MLA RK Imo as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Sanajaoba called for unity among the people and stand together to defeat those scheming to divide Manipur, similar to.
the Manipuri ancestors valiantly combatting the Burmese invaders and regaining freedom of Manipur.
He added that, in these difficult times, comparable to the hardships of the Seven Years Devastation, it is not the moment for internal conflict.
Instead, CSOs and leaders must come together to protect Manipur.
Only through collective effort can we achieve the strong and united Manipur that Maharaja Narasingh envisioned, maintained the titular king.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA RK Imo expressed disappointment that even in this time of distress unity remains elusive.
He stated that it is time to move beyond the constant struggle for leadership, whether among Meira Paibis, civil society organisations or MLAs.
He further said that if the leaders and representatives of the people come together with a shared voice and approach the central leadership, their concerns will be heard and their collective goals can be achieved.
