158 Bn CRPF organises free medical camp

In a commendable initiative to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas, the 158 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a free medical camp at Kangchup Chiru and Kangchup Makhom villages under Kangchup Geljang Sub Division in Kangpokpi District.
Led by Dr Karthika Balan, Medical Officer of the unit, a dedicated medical team provided essential health checkups and distributed free medicines to scores of villagers.
Commandant, 158 Bn CRPF Sanjay Negi emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating, "Organizing free medical camps is a meaningful way to contribute to public health, especially in the areas where medical services are limited".
Villagers wholeheartedly welcomed the initiative, lauding the CRPF for its dual role in maintaining peace and supporting social welfare.
Many residents expressed deep gratitude to Commandant Sanjay Negi and his team for their compassionate outreach and timely assistance.
