15 MS, MCS officers reshuffled

Imphal, May 06 2025: In a latest bureaucratic rejig, the government on Monday announced transfer and posting of 15 IAS and MCS officers with immediate effect in public interest.

According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms under-secretary (DP) M Rabichandra Singh, Ningthoujam Geoffrey has been appointed as Commissioner-cum Secretary (Social Welfare/CADA/WR) and CEO/MIDA; Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam as Imphal East deputy commissioner (DC); Khumanthem Diana as director (transport) and additional secretary (veterinary & animal husbandry); L Bikram as tourism director; Pooja Elangbam as Bishnupur DC; Krishna Kumar as special secretary (power) and in-charge managing director of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL); Saurabh Yadav as Tengnoupal DC; A Subhash Sjngh as additional secretary (personnel/home) and director of institutional finance; Ranjan Yumnam as additional secretary for MAHUD and PHED; Robert Singh Kshetrimayum as secretary to Manipur Lok Ayukta, and additional charge as secretary (minor irrigation); Luckyson Ngamsha Kashung as director (TA&H/TRI) and managing director of Manipur Tourism Development Corporation; Hannah Kahmei as Thoubal DC; U Chaitanya as SDO Waikhong and BDO Langmeidong; M Ingocha as AC to DC, Kakching; and P Shantikumar as CEO Zilla Parishad, and ADC Kakching in addition.

However, the order noted that Bikram and Pooja shall take charge only after conclusion of the upcoming Shirui Festival.
