MLA appeals for safe return of missing youth

Imphal, March 19 2025: Keishamthong AC MLA Nishikant Singh Sapam has appealed for safe return of Luwangthem Mukesh, who has been missing since March 16.In a video shared on social media, Nishikant Singh Sapam expressed solidarity and shared the concern of the family members of the 20-year-old.In the wake of speculations that Mukesh may have been abducted, Nishikant appealed for his safe release on humanitarian grounds and considering the suffering of the family members.

His safe return would aid in efforts to bring normalcy and peace, he said, urging the Governor, Chief Secretary and DGP to take up all efforts to trace the whereabouts of the 20-year-old and secure his return.

Luwangthem Mukesh hails from Keishampat Leimajam Leikai.

He left home in a Maruti Alto car on March 16 and has been missing since.

His mobile phone location was reportedly traced to Joujangtek area.
