Imphal, January 31 2025: The Pambei-led UNLF has condoled the martyrdom of PLA's 2nd Lt Salam Henthoiba alias Nganba and other freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice in battles fought along Manipur-Myanmar border since January 27, 2025 .

Driven by a strong spirit of sacrifice at the highest level, freedom fighters of Manipur have been fighting a series of battles even today.

It is the freedom fighters' indomitable spirit, courage and their love for the motherland which enable them to defeat the enemies, the outfit remarked in a press release issued by its Department of Publicity and Education Director Charairongba Thokchom.

It also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, relatives and friends of the freedom fighters who have achieved martyrdom in the ongoing battles.

The outfit further prayed that the martyrs rest in peace and their sacrifice may lead the liberation movement forward.
