Imphal, May 12 2023: Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) informed that its 21 st foundation day observation which was scheduled to be held on May 16, 2023 will not be held considering the prevailing tense situation in the State.

HERICOUN in a press release said that the 21 st foundation day observation was scheduled to be held on May 16, 2023 .

'Tomthin Khudol' which is presented to individuals of the State who have made enormous contributions in the field of Culture in connection with the foundation day will not be awarded this year.

Further the 1 st State Level Khunung Eshei (Folk Song) competition has been postponed indefinitely.

The preliminary written round of 11th State Level Khangminnasi Eramdam Quiz Competition 2023 slated to be held on May 28, 2023 (Sunday) at Churachand Higher Secondary School is also postponed indefinitely.
