THE COMPUTERIZED system searching vacancy of posts and application invited for filling the post which the state authority taken up for the convenience of the unemployed people of the state launched today at the office of the state employment directorate, Lamphel today.
The opening function of the computerized system was graced by state chief secretary Rakesh as chief guest and commissioner of labour and employment AR Khan as president.
Director, science and technology Utamchand Laishram, NIC director Kh Rajen and additional director, employment exchange Sh Bijoy also attended the function as guest of honour.
Rakesh, speaking on the occasion said that with the launching of the computerized system in the state employment exchange will benefited to more than six lakhs unemployed youths searching for jobs as they could access the vacant posts lying in various departments.
He also appealed the staffs of the employment exchange to co-operate with the unemployed youths in seeking jobs of their choice.
While giving his presidential speech, commissioner labour and employment said as officers could not sit in their offices for long during the office hour, the unemployed persons are facing difficulties while trying to contact with them and know the information they want.
With the launching of the computerized system and uploading to the vacant positions to the websites, the unemployed persons who search for job can access through the internet.
They can also avail temporary cards for seeking the job.
With the cutting of ribbon by the chief guest, the computerized system was launched.
