Three girls including one from Manipur who were victims of trafficking rescued Friday evening by the Calangute police during raid at a massage parlour in Candolim.
They also arrested three customers, one woman Yashoda and the manager of the parlour Laxman Gawde.
A police team led by PI N Raposo raided the parlour in Candolim and arrested the three customers along with the victims and others.
Police said that the massage parlour was a front for prostitution activities and that the business was being operated by one Yashoda and her partner Raj.
Police said that they brought girls to Goa on the pretext of employing them in massage parlours and pushed them into prostitution.
The three rescued girls are in their early twenties.
While one is from Assam, the second one is from Manipur and the third girl is a local from Mapusa.
The customers who were arrested by the police are tourists from Rajasthan.
They are Anand Sharma, 30, Mahendra Yadav, 28 and Jaiprakash, 26.Police have also arrested the manager of the parlour one Laxman Gawde.
They said that Raj is absconding.
