112 Bn CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme

Kangpokpi, January 31 2025:
Under the aegis of Vimal Kumar Bist, IG, CRPF M&N sector and Manish Kumar Sachar, DIG (Ops) Kangpokpi and under the over-all supervision of Mukesh Taterway, 2nd I/C, the 112 Bn CRPF organised a Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Taphou Kuki village, Kangpokpi district under AOR of G/112 Bn CRPF today.
The initiative aimed to extend and create an atmosphere of goodwill and positive relationship with the local people and address the needs of local villagers.
The program was attended by the village chief, Lemkhomang Chongloi and Village Authority members.
The program was attended by around 250 villagers.
During the program, sports items like football, volleyball with nets, water storage tanks, flexi pipes, solar lamps, school bags, dustbins, etc were distributed to the needy villagers.
The village chief expressed his gratitude to 112 Bn CRPF for ensuring stability and safety in the area.
He also highlighted the importance of maintaining stronger relations between central forces and local communities.
The 2nd I/C of 112 Bn stated that CRPF will always try to strengthen relations with local communities.
He also expressed his gratitude to the village chief/ Village Authority members and villagers for sparing their precious time for the successful conduct of the program.
As part of the event, a cultural programme was also held.
