National Students' Day observed, meritorious students feted

Kakching, July 11 2024: The observance of National Students' Day was held at Library and Information Centre Kakching, Phousupat Leikai on July 9 .

In line with the observance, meritorious students of Kakching district were felicitated.

The observance cum felicitation programme was jointly organised by Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Kakching unit and Leishangthem Amu Meritorious Students Award Committee.

Naorem Nabachandra, Director of Bhubon Technical & Skill Development (BTSD); Naorem Amuyaima, president Leishangthem Amu Meritorious Students Award Committee; Naorem Munal Meitei, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Chandel and Associate Professor of NIT, Manipur, Dr Thiyam David graced as the presidium members of the programme.

During the programme, around 300 meritorious students who have secured more than 80 percent in Class X and Class XII examinations of State Board/Council and CBSE were honoured with certificates and citations.
