RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camp

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, organised a Swachhta Health Camp under the Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25 on Sunday.
According to a release issued by RIMS, the camp was conducted in association with Rotary Club Imphal at Heirok Ngarouthel SPO Office, Thoubal district.
A medical team including specialist doctors from various departments such as Eye, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Medicine and Paediatrics provided free consultations and medicines to about 650 patients during the camp.
The initiative saw participation from doctors, staff and students of RIMS, emphasizing on enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations.
The health camp provided much-needed medical assistance, health screenings, and raised awareness about hygiene and sanitation, which are essential in displacement settings, where access to regular healthcare services is often limited.
The participants expressed their gratitude for the medical support and guidance provided during the camp.
Furthermore, RIMS, Imphal, reaffirmed its dedication to organising similar outreach programmes to improve public health and hygiene standards across the State.
