Imphal, February 18: GoC of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), western command, Naga army Col DP Panmei has terminated two officers from the outfit and suspended four others for a period of 1 years with rank degradation with effect from February 9, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

The terminated officers are Lt AG Lankhuipou of Thiulon village and 2nd Lt Namgaklung of Chingkhonglong village, both hailing from Tamenglong district of Manipur.

While the four who have been placed under suspension with rank degradation are 2nd Lt Sinthuingam, Sgt Sajonba, Sgt Gaithuilung and Corpl Dinesh.

Criminal offences and extortion were cited as reasons for the ouster and suspension of the officers from the outfit by the GOC, the report added.
