Imphal, December 03 2024: In connection with the International Testing Week (ITW) which was launched recently, the Community Network of Empowerment (CoNE), National Viral Hepatitis Control Program (NVHCP) and Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MS ACS) conducted a poster campaign at RIMS Hospital, JNIMS Hospital and Target Intervention NGOs today.

The team also raised awareness and promoted getting tested for Hepatitis B, C, HIV and other infections.

S Irananda, project coordinator, CoNE has encouraged people to get tested for the aforementioned infections and get vaccinated if they test negative and get the necessary treatment if they test positive.

He added that CoNE provides free screening and tests for Persons Who Inject Drugs (PWID) and advised the high-risk group to get tested.
