Dr Azin Maringmei takes charge as Noney CMO

Noney, May 19 2025: Dr Azin Maringmei has been entrusted to take charge as the chief medical officer (CMO) of Noney district with the charge handing and taking over programme held at the CMO's office on Monday in the presence of Noney district immunisation officer Dr Jendum Golmei, senior medical officers, doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, ASHAs and other officials.

The outgoing CMO Dr Zian-thuilung Kamei, who had been the CMO since July 12, 2022, will now be the district programme officer of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, Noney.

Speaking at the function, Dr Z Kamei expressed gratitude to all the subordinate staffers for their cooperation and support during his tenure as CMO.

He further appealed to all staff members to extend support to Dr Azin Maringmei for accelerating development in the health sector, and completing the task he left pending.

Meanwhile, Dr Azin thanked the outgoing CMO for rendering his invaluable service for the community.

He also sought suggestions from all the staff members to serve the people at the best level and assure maximum effort to for all round development in the health sector in the district.
