Imphal, March 19 2025: A memorial for 10 "martyrs" who sacrificed their lives in the ongoing conflict was opened at Yumnam Patlou Chingjel, Khundrakpam Assembly Constituency on March 16 .

The 10 martyrs belonged to Khundrakpam AC.

Unveiling the memorial, Arambai Tenggol chief Korounganba Khuman underscored the need for all civil society organisations to unite and work collectively towards protecting the State's integrity.

"When the conflict broke out, many sacrificed the comfort of their homes and volunteered to protect the State.

But today, the contributions of these people are being overlooked," he said.

After the imposition of President's Rule, the people who volunteered and came out to protect the State have been left to fend for themselves, he added.

All the civil society organisations must unite as one and lead the people to protect the State.

Arambai Tenggol will also follow their lead he said ICHAM founder president N Rajendra, Khwairamband Ima Keithel Joint Coordinating Committee for Peace convenor Laishram Merna Devi, Peace Committee Kangleipak president Khumukcham Rajesh and members of Arambai Tenggol attended the event.
