PRIDE selects MU student to participate in 'Know Your Leader'

Imphal, May 06 2025: Manipur University student Jessy Thiyam has been shortlisted by the Parliamentary Research and Training Institutes for Democracies (PRIDE), Lok Sabha Secretariat to represent MU in the 'Know Your Leader' Programme and 'participation of youth in events in the parliament' to pay homage to national leaders, and to celebrate the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on May 9 .

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean of Students' Welfare, MU, Jessy is one of 12 students selected by PRIDE, Lok Sabha Secretariat, and the only student from the State to participate in the above mentioned programme.

She is an MA 4th semester student from the Department of English and Cultural Studies, MU.

Manipur University has wished her success as she is set to leave Imphal on May 8 .
