Imphal, February 28 2009: Dr M Nara who represented the country in the two-day international forum on "Scientific Development, Descent Work and Harmony Society" held at Chinese Capital Beijing today shared his experienced with the media persons in Imphal.

Nara represented the country as national vice-president of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) in the international forum participated by 100 delegations from different part of the world.

It was held on February 12 and 13. The forum discussed mainly on the impact of the global financial crisis and while sharing his experiences, Nara said to the media today at CBI office, Irawat Bhavan that the country needed a socialist society not so as to able to protect from severe impact of the economy crisis facing in the globe.

He observed that the economic crisis of the globe is the results of the privatization policies.

The crisis which erupted 20 years back has given great impacts to the advance country like the USA and UK.

As a result of it, thousands of Indian working in America has been turned out from the jobs.

But, in China where there have well plan economic policies, the crisis could not give much impact.

Banks in China are mostly control by the government and numbers of private ownership are very less.

In the capitalists society of the country today, general masses are in awful situation.

The only way to shave from the jaw of woe of this situation is to introduce a social ownership system which government can control the economy.

The global economic crisis has paved the way of understanding in the world on the need of well economic policy adapted to replace capitalists society.

Society today needed a system to check men oppressing men and give adequate wages to the working class people.

To achieve the goal, the China Federation of Trade Union, the biggest trade union in the globe is taking a main role, he said.

Even though, India proud of having richest country in the world, 70 percent of its people are leaving with Rs 20 per day and out of the millions of labourers, only 10 percent are getting their adequate wages, he observed.

Policy makers in the country are investing their interest only in the fields which can earn huge income keeping behind the idea of giving jobs in mass.

If this system continue further there will erupt another crisis.

So, before creating the crisis, the policy makers are needed to be more socialist and make a socialist society, Nara observed.
